To: All Employees
From: Mark Gibson, President – Lisa Correia, HR Manager
In response to the Corona Virus health emergency, we are taking an additional level of
protection for our employees. Latest data tells us the virus is viable for up to:
72 hours on plastics
48 hours on stainless steel
24 hours on cardboard
4 hours on copper
In light of this data, we have decided to work a 4-day workweek (Monday – Thursday)
effective immediately, until further notice. Beginning March 31, 2020, our shifts will be
as follows:
1st shift will be 5:30 am – 3:18 pm
2nd shift will be 3:30 pm – 1:18 am
Full-time employees that work this above schedule will be paid for a 40-hour work week.
If you do not work the above schedule, you will be paid for the hours worked. Part-time
employees should check with their supervisor regarding any questions.
Note that the week of Good Friday (April 6 th – April 10 th ) we will revert to our normal
work schedule.
April 13 th we will be back to the 4-day work week schedule noted above.
Again, while we are at work, we are committed to practicing social distancing, staying in
our workstation/department and disinfecting at least twice daily.
We appreciate your commitment during these unprecedented and challenging times. If
you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 860-584-0927.
