Incorporated in 1965

Quality Coils, Incorporated was established as a Connecticut Corporation in 1965, by Archibald A. Gibson, John Comerford, and W.B. Crumb.
"Archie" Gibson passed away in November of 1989. The company was managed by his three sons Keith, Mark and Gary until March of 1991 at which time they gained complete control through the purchase of stock.
In 1994, Keith, Mark and Gary Gibson were recognized as Finalists for Southern New England Entrepreneur Of The Year by Inc. Magazine, Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch.
Under its current leadership the companies sales have continued to grow by expanding the customer base to include new industries and a worldwide market.

In 1995, QCI was recognized by the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce as a Blue Chip Enterprise.
